NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONS
Sunday, September 12, 2010
Cusack's defeated four other clubs on Labor Day weekend to
be crowned North American Champions. It was an
impressive display with the Cusack's showing their range and
depth in their own back yard. The Cusack's faced tough
opponents in each match but rose to the occasion each time.
The hard work put in at training showed.
Congratulations on a well deserved title!

The Cusack's, winners of the 2009 tournament, competed this

In the first match,
Indianapolis struck first lodging three quick points from
distance. The Cusack's took advantage of playing into
the wind in the first half by finding the back of the net
from a score attempt that fell short. The Cusack's
would continue to pressure the Indianapolis defense find the
net again before the half and taking advantage of each
placed ball. Indianapolis would continue their
accuracy but trailed at the half.
The second half was
much the same as the first. Both clubs put in
tremendous effort but at the final whistle the Cusack's
The second match
was a great success. Each club was able to get all
their players plenty of playing time and it was certainly a
learning experience. The talent and drive displayed at
the weekend's games are telling of bright futures for both
